Traineeship programs in food processing
Spain is one of Europe’s leading food-producing countries, known for its strong agricultural supply chains and highly developed food processing industry. Through the Bixter Food Processing traineeship program, international candidates gain the opportunity to work inside modern production facilities and learn how high-quality food products are processed, controlled, and prepared for European and global markets.
During the traineeship, participants become part of a professional production environment and support daily operations in areas such as production line monitoring, packaging processes, hygiene routines, documentation, quality control procedures, and food safety practices. Depending on the company, trainees may also gain experience with laboratory-based testing, product inspections, traceability systems, and process optimization.
This traineeship offers real insight into how food production works at an industrial level. Participants learn how companies apply strict European regulations and international standards to ensure consistent product quality. Trainees are introduced to key topics such as HACCP principles, quality management systems, hygiene protocols, cold chain handling, and efficiency-based production workflows.
A major advantage of this program is the opportunity to develop practical skills in an environment where technology and structured processes are central. Trainees work alongside experienced specialists and gain exposure to modern processing equipment and advanced methods used in sectors such as meat production, dairy, bakery, ready meals, and other food-related industries.
The Food Processing traineeship is ideal for candidates who want to build a future career in food technology, quality assurance, production management, or industrial food manufacturing. By working directly in real production settings, trainees gain valuable experience, professional discipline, and the practical understanding needed for long-term opportunities in Europe’s food industry.
Bixter.training supports trainees throughout the full process — from application and placement to contract support, documentation guidance, and preparation for living and working in Spain.
Please review the program requirements carefully before applying.
