Duration:

Up to 12 months

Eligibility:

Students, graduates, and young professionals aged 18–40 seeking international experience and practical skills.

Compensation:

Paid traineeship with provided accommodation and access to local social security systems where required.

Agriculture

Practical traineeship in modern European farming, including livestock, piggery, poultry, crops, and greenhouse production.

⁠Hospitality

Hands-on experience in hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and service operations across Europe.

Food Processing

Experience in dairy, meat, and food production facilities with a focus on hygiene, quality control, and industrial processes.

Metal industry

Technical traineeship in mechanics, welding, fabrication, and industrial machinery operations.

Getting your traineeship with Bixter team is a clear and guided process.

Interview & approval

Our team reviews your application and invites you for an online interview. If you meet the program criteria, you receive official approval to proceed.

Visa & documents

We guide you through the full visa process: documentation, forms, requirements, and communication with authorities — ensuring everything is prepared correctly.

Start your traineeship

Once your visa is approved, you travel to your host farm or company and begin your traineeship with full support from Bixter.

For most traineeships, you only need enough English to communicate at work and complete daily tasks. For some countries and sectors, English may be required at an intermediate level.

Traineeships typically last 6–18 months, depending on the country, visa type, and host company. You will be informed about the exact duration during the approval process.

Yes. Bixter provides full visa support, including document checklists, guidance on forms, communication with authorities, and preparation for your arrival.

Accommodation is arranged by the host farm or company.
Most trainees live in on-site or nearby housing, often at a discounted rate. You will receive full details before your departure.

Requirements vary by country, but typically include:

  • CV
  • Passport
  • We think Diploma should be renamed to certificate of graduation, since they will think that we need Diploma levels only, but not Degree
  • Academic transcript
  • Medical certificate (for some programs)
  • Police clearance (for some programs)
  • Visa application forms – delete
