This program offers skilled agricultural workers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Germany’s advanced livestock sector. Participants assist with daily animal care, feeding, barn maintenance, health monitoring, and general farm operations in a structured and safe environment. The program exposes trainees to European animal welfare principles, sustainable production methods, and modern technologies used in German livestock farms, supporting strong career development in the agricultural field.

Traineeship Program

Up to 12 months

Place of traineeship

Livestock farms (cattle, pigs, poultry, mixed farms)

Working hours

40 hours/week + paid occasional overtime

Accommodation

Provided near the workplace Approx. €300 / month (shared room, incl. facilities)

Requirements for applicants

Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in Agriculture, Animal Life Science, Animal Husbandry
Veterinary faculty is acceptable for this program
University must be listed as H+ on Anabin

21–40 years old
Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with farm animals
English level B1+ (confirmed by Bixter)

Financial readiness (covers own travel and personal expenses)

Driving license is not required, but an advantage

Strong work attitude and ethics

CV in Bixter format + photo (smiling)

Recommendation letters / certificates confirming experience
