This program is designed for qualified bakers who want to strengthen their professional experience in Germany’s modern bakery sector. Participants assist with dough preparation, baking processes, shaping and decorating products, inventory handling, and ensuring high-quality standards in a professional bakery environment. The traineeship provides exposure to traditional German baking methods, modern equipment, and strict hygiene guidelines, helping professionals expand their skills in an international setting.

Germany Hospitality – Skilled Baker Program

Duration

12 months (Possibility to extend for a longer period afterwards)

Place of traineeship

Restaurants, Bakeries and pastry production facilities across Germany

Working hours

40 hours/week paid overtime

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided, rent fee approximately 350 eur per month

Allowance

Hourly rate:

~15.00 / hour (before taxes)

Monthly allowance:

€2,580 / month (before taxes)

Requirements for applicants

Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in: Culinary, Pastry, Restaurant Management, etc University must be listed as H+

Age 21–45 years old

International Passport

English level B1+ (verified by Bixter)

German A2 is an advantage for specific positions

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with valid recommendation letters, photos of work process

Financial readiness; Driving license optional (advantage); Completed package of documents: CV (Bixter format) + candidate’s photo (smiling) Bachelor/Master’s degree
