Traineeship programs in logistics

Germany is one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs, with highly developed supply chains that support manufacturing, food production, retail, and international trade. Through the Bixter Logistics traineeship program, international participants gain practical experience working in professional warehouse and logistics environments, learning how goods are handled, stored, and distributed efficiently under European standards.

During the traineeship, participants become part of the warehouse team and support daily operations such as receiving and checking incoming goods, order picking, packing, labeling, inventory control, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Trainees also learn how warehouses operate with structured workflows, time schedules, and safety procedures that ensure smooth and reliable logistics processes.

Depending on the placement, trainees may gain experience in food logistics, cold storage facilities, production warehouses, or distribution centers, where precision, hygiene, and efficiency are essential. Participants are introduced to warehouse management systems (WMS), scanning technologies, stock tracking, and quality checks, gaining insight into how modern logistics operations are managed.

The logistics traineeship helps participants develop important professional skills such as organization, reliability, teamwork, and process understanding. Working in a fast-paced environment strengthens responsibility and adaptability, while learning how individual tasks contribute to the overall performance of the logistics chain.

This program is ideal for candidates who want to gain real European work experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or warehouse management, and build a foundation for future career opportunities in logistics and related industries.

Bixter.training supports participants throughout the entire process — from application and placement to contract support, visa guidance, and preparation for living and working in Germany.

Please review program requirements carefully before applying.
