Denmark Horticulture

The horticulture sector in Denmark is highly developed and strongly focused on sustainability, innovation, and efficient production. A traineeship in Danish horticulture offers international participants the opportunity to work with modern greenhouse systems, advanced cultivation technologies, and environmentally responsible growing methods. Trainees gain hands-on experience in plant care, propagation, harvesting, and quality control while learning the standards that make Denmark one of Europe’s leaders in horticultural production.

Working alongside experienced growers, trainees are introduced to precise climate control systems, automated irrigation, and integrated pest management solutions. This practical training helps develop strong technical skills and an understanding of how modern horticulture combines technology with ecological responsibility. The experience also provides valuable insights into Denmark’s organized work processes, strong safety culture, and high-quality production practices.

Bixter will guide you through the whole process — from receiving your traineeship contract to handling visa application steps and preparing for your professional journey in Denmark.
