This extended 12-month livestock program offers participants deep, long-term exposure to Sweden’s structured and technologically advanced animal farming sector. Trainees support daily routines such as feeding livestock, monitoring animal health, barn cleaning, assisting with calving or lambing seasons, milking routines (depending on farm), and working with modern farm equipment.
Throughout the 12-month period, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Swedish animal welfare standards, sustainable farm management, and efficient production systems widely practiced in Scandinavia. The program is ideal for those planning a long-term agricultural career and seeking substantial hands-on experience.
Bixter.training will assist you during the entire process — from receiving your traineeship contract to visa guidance and preparation for your long-term agricultural experience in Sweden.
Review program requirements carefully before applying.
